Fahey has Tipperary test in mind for Peregrine Tipperary's Like A Butterfly Novice Chase is the likely next port of call for Peter Fahey's stable star Peregrine Run. The seven-year-old won four successive races over hurdles between August and November of last year, completing the four-timer in a Grade Two event at Cheltenham. He has continued in a similar vein since having his attentions switched to the larger obstacles this summer, winning his third race from five starts at Killarney a week ago. Fahey is hoping his charge can continue to make hay before ground conditions deteriorate. "We were delighted with his last run and I think we'll probably take him to Tipperary next for the two-and-a-half-mile Grade Three ( Like A Butterfly Novice Chase, October 1)," said the County Kildare trainer. "The plan is to keep him going as long as the ground is good. "We did a similar thing over hurdles last year and we probably just went to the well once to many at Warwick in January." Asked whether another trip to Cheltenham could be on the cards in the autumn, Fahey said: " Going back across the water would definitely be an option. "If it came up soft at Tipperary, which it can do sometimes, we'll definitely consider it. "He's been a great servant to us and has already been busy this year, so it wouldn't be the end of the world if he doesn't run again until the new year. "We know he's fairly ground-dependent, so we'll be guided by that."
