"It is nice to get a winner for the yard as we had three seconds but no winners over the Easter period."< Jaamid who unseated Paul Carberry in the Jewson Novices' Handicap Chase at Cheltenham last month in which the jockey was injured, made amends with a smooth victory in the Broad Meadow Beginners Chase.

The 4-5 favourite, trained by Noel Meade, led after the fourth-last with Carberry back on board and came home seven lengths clear of Tahitien Fix

Meade said: "Jaamid will go to Punchestown and then have a break - we may then train him for the Galway Plate."

Paddy Flood made it 54 wins in his best-ever season when partnering the Hughes-trained Erritt Lake (4-1) to victory in the Ratoath Maiden Hurdle.
