Fairyhouse goes ahead, but further check of chase track This afternoon's meeting at Fairyhouse will commence as planned at 12 noon following a second inspection of the course at 10am. The chase track remains unfit for racing, but with the ground continuing to thaw the IHRB will monitor the situation in the hope that the chase track will have improved by the time of the first race over fences at 1.06pm. The first two races on the card take place on the hurdles course which gives an additional hour for the temperatures to rise enough to allow the races over fences to commence as planned. Here's the latest update from clerk of the course Brendan Sheridan. The Chase course at @Fairyhouse remains unfit for racing at present. However, following improvement throughout the morning, the fixture will commence at 12pm with the opening two Hurdle races and the situation regarding the Chase races will be continually monitored pic.twitter.com/lHiKAClw4h— IHRB Raceday information (@IHRBRaceday) November 21, 2025
