Fairyhouse goes ahead today Following a track inspection this morning, Fairyhouse (main track) was found to be fit for racing and the fixture today goes ahead at 12.50pm. The ground is Heavy with further showers later, possibly turning to sleet or snow. However, the inside track was found to be unfit for racing due to waterlogging and the fixture scheduled for Wednesday has been cancelled. Meanwhile, Thurles is Soft to Heavy ahead of Thursday's card. The forecast is for cold weather with widespread snow/sleet later this week.
