Fairyhouse ground eases after rain The ground at Fairyhouse has eased after 11m of rain yesterday. It is now described as yielding, good to yielding in places having been good to yielding early yesterday morning. The track have also been watering and will continue to monitor the sitution as regards to further watering. The forecast is for showers over the next few days, possibly turning heavier over the weekend. It is set to be mainly dry today with the chance of passing showers this morning. Following 9mm of rain the ground has also eased at Cork for their Easter festival meeting. It is now soft on the Flat course and yielding to soft on the national hunt track. It is set to be mainly dry with the possibility of scattered showers Clonmel race tomorrow and following 8mm of rain on Tuesday the ground there is now yielding. The forecast is mainly dry with the chance of occasional showers.
