Fairyhouse then Aintree the plan for Warne Warne will head to Fairyhouse on Saturday before a likely trip to Aintree for the Fox Hunters Chase over the National Course on the Thursday of the Grand National Festival. The Brian Hamilton trained ten-year-old ran a fine race in the Raymond Smith Memorial Hunters Chase at Leopardstown earlier this month, finishing third to Tammys Hill. The son of Bob Back will now return to Fairyhouse at the weekend to defend his crown in the John McCarthy Memorial Hunters Chase, before heading back to Aintree for the Fox Hunters, a race which he finished a close up fourth in last year. Hamilton said this afternoon: “He is in on Saturday at Fairyhouse and if everything is okay with him we will probably run him there, in the race which he won last year. "We are probably going to take the same route as last year, and after Fairyhouse he will go to Aintree for the Fox Hunters. "We were well happy with his run at Leopardstown. He ran better in it than last year, he just seems to be in better tune of himself and two mile five around Fairyhouse will probably help us get a bit closer to Tammys Hill. "Seabass is also entered in the race so it looks a competitive enough contest. I think Tammys Hill wasn’t at his best when we beat him in it last year, but the two mile five furlong trip should suit us better as he wants further."
