Fairyhouse transfer to Thursday Tomorrow's big meeting at Fairyhouse will now be run on Thursday 2nd December and will have Free entry for all. The decision to postpone the high-profile fixture was taken after an inspection of the course at midday today when the track was covered in a 3-inch blanket of snow and temperatures had not risen much above zero. The best races from Saturday and Sunday's meetings will be run off in an 8-race programme on Thursday with the action due to commence at 11.50am. Peter Roe, Acting Manager of Fairyhouse said: - “The weather has beaten us it’s as simple at that. We are all devastated to have to cancel this meeting. I would like to extend my thanks to our sponsors, Meath Tourism, hospitality guests, suppliers, members and general race goers all of whom have been extremely supportive and understanding of our situation. We are now looking at running an 8 race card on Thursday the 2nd of December. With 7 of the 8 races being Graded this will be a mouth watering days racing. The first race will be 11.50am. Admission will be free.”
