Fallon to make hay if sun shines Top jockey Kieren Fallon is hoping the current dry weather continues in the build-up to the Juddmonte International Stakes at York next Tuesday. He is due to be reunited with Sir Michael Stoute`s Medicean in the 10-furlong Group One contest. The Clareman has already won two races at the highest level this season on Medicean having landed the Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes and the Coral Eurobet Eclipse Stakes on the four-year-old.'Hopefully, they won`t have any rain at York - he likes top of the ground,' said Fallon.'We got away with it at Sandown when he ran in the Eclipse. The rain only came half an hour before so it didn`t get in - I was lucky.'Providing the ground stays fast, I think he`s the horse they all have to beat.'Officials at York have reported the Knavesmire in 'excellent' condition ahead of the prestigious meeting. And following recent heavy rain they have no intention of watering the track 'at this stage'.The Juddmonte International, with a total prize fund of Stg£450,000, is the opening day`s feature event and could see Medicean renew rivalry with Grandera and Black Minnaloushe, second and fifth respectively in the Eclipse.Godolphin`s Sakhee, runner-up to Sinndar in last season`s Vodafone Derby, could also take his chance in the line-up for the race.
