Fame to reappear at the Curragh Last year's Irish Derby hero Fame And Glory is set to make his seasonal reappearance in the New Tote Sports Lounge Alleged Stakes at the Curragh this Sunday. Aidan O'Brien's Montjeu colt chased home Sea The Stars on more than one occasion last year, but could be in for an exciting four-year-old campaign with that rival now retired to stud. Joining Fame And Glory at the Curragh on Sunday could be Alfred Nobel, winner of last year's Group 1 Phoenix Stakes. "After this morning's exercise we hope to run Fame And Glory and Dixie Music in the Listed Alleged Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday," the trainer reported on his website, www.aidanobrien.ie. "Johnny (Murtagh) will hopefully ride Fame And Glory and Alfred Nobel. We hope to run Alfred Nobel in the Loughbrown Stakes. Our other entry, Queen Of Troy, will probably run in Dundalk on Friday evening instead in the fillies' conditions race. "Obviously we will monitor the ground conditions as we get closer to the weekend as we would like to see the ground drying out."
