Fanunalter storms to Diomed win Fanunalter (16-1) flashed home under Adam Kirby to win the Investec Diomed Stakes at Epsom. Marco Botti's five-year-old was always travelling well but had to thread his way through a wall of horses inside the final furlong. Kirby eventually got a nice split towards the rail and pushed his mount out to win by half a length from St Moritz (9-2). Rio De La Plata (7-2) held on for third under Frankie Dettori while 15-8 favourite Premio Loco could never land a blow under George Baker.
