Faugheen A1 After Comeback Faugheen continues to please connections following his comeback victory in the Morgiana Hurdle. Having his first race for 22 months, Willie Mullins' nine-year-old slammed another former champion hurdler Jezki by 16 lengths. The Christmas Hurdle at Kempton, which he was won twice before, the Ryanair Hurdle at Leopardstown or the Irish Champion Hurdle at the end of January are his next possible options. "He's come out of the race A1, thank god. John Codd, who looks after him, is very happy with him," said Patrick Mullins, assistant to his father. "It was fabulous to see the reception he got, it was reminiscent to something Hurricane Fly would get. "Everyone was delighted to get him back and see that he was still at his best and hopefully we can keep him in one piece now."
