Fenton has high hopes for Capital Philip Fenton has high hopes Venture Capital will develop into a Champion Bumper contender come March. The Presenting gelding left a lasting impression when impressively winning on his debut at Fairyhouse on Sunday. He was subsequently introduced into the betting for the Cheltenham contest at around the 16-1 mark. "I think he's pretty smart. It was no surprise, we've always really liked him and we're very sweet on him before hand," said Fenton. "He'll be running in the spring, I'm sure, but he won't run until February and we'll make up our minds then. "He's only four - obviously he'll be five in a few weeks - but he won't be rushed. "We might run him at Naas and then consider Cheltenham. "He's a 16-1 chance, so there are a few ahead of him in the betting, but I'd be hoping he'd progress to be a Cheltenham horse."
