Nicky Henderson expects Finian's Rainbow to "enjoy himself" at Killarney on Sunday when he makes his comeback in the Leane's Tool Hire & Lawnmowers Chase.

The 12-year-old, who lifted the Queen Mother Champion Chase in 2012, has been absent since he struck into himself in the Paddy Power Gold Cup in November 2013.

"Finian's travelled over on Friday and is in good form," said Henderson.

"The great difficulty was finding a race for him in this country, but the Killarney race looks a good start point for him.

"He's pleased us over the last few weeks and it's great to have him back. He's been off for a long time but I'm sure he'll enjoy himself out there."

With Barry Geraghty injured, Finian's Rainbow will be partnered for the first time by Paul Townend.

Henderson's representative will be up against four rivals, including Baily Green, who returned to form with a narrow second behind Felix Yonger in the Boylesports Champion Chase at Punchestown last month.

Two-times Grade Two winner Texas Jack has also been declared by Noel Meade, while Foildubh is no slouch on a going day. Letter Of Credit completes a fascinating line-up for the Jimmy Mangan operation.

Champion trainer Willie Mullins is well represented throughout the card and his Whiteout should prove hard to beat in the Jeremy O'Neill Memorial Mares Hurdle.

The German-bred four-year-old won at the Punchestown Festival just last week and should have too much class for Kabjoy and Ballychorus. Ruby Walsh rides, and he will also be aboard Karalee for Mullins in the opening Kelly Brothers Maiden Hurdle.

This daughter of Martaline finished second on her sole start in France and will not have to be a star to win this, though dual Flat winner Sophie's World is an interesting runner on just her second start for Alan Fleming.

Mullins and Walsh combine with Abbey Lane in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase. The 1 0-year-old has been disappointing over fences to date but should be able to make his presence felt here.
