The opening week’s fixtures in Ireland are beginning to take shape as Horse Racing Ireland have issued a revised list of Pattern races for the 2020 season.

Here is how the first week’s racing starting on June 8 is shaping up:

No details yet

Friday June 12 Curragh

Wherever possible 8 race cards will be staged to maximise opportunities for the horse population. Safety limits will be decided on a racecourse by racecourse basis to accommodate each track’s social distancing requirements, with a general maximum limit of 18 initially.

There will be no Apprentice or Claiming races in the first two weeks.
