FIVE STAND GROUND FOR GANAY Sunday's Group One Prix Ganay at Longchamp will have another small field after just five horses were left in the race at today's "probables" stage. Barbola was withdrawn from the 10{-furlong event, which has attracted line-ups of four and five in the past two years. Sir Michael Stoute's Greek Dance and Godolphin's Kabool have stood their ground, along with French trio Indian Danehill, Russian Hope and Chelsea Manor. Indian Danehill beat Chelsea Manor by a length in the Group Two Prix d'Harcourt last month. Russian Hope is unbeaten in two outings this term, scoring by six lengths in the Group Three Prix Exbury in March.
