Florida Bay seals O'Brien double in Foxrock Aidan O'Brien enjoyed a Group 3 double in Leopardstown when Florida Bay was an all-the-way winner of the Tyros Stakes. Wayne Lordan soon went on over the seven-furlong trip and the 7/2 shot was still on good terms with himself straightening up with over two furlongs to travel. He kicked on a furlong and a half down and was soon nicely clear. Folsom Blues set off in pursuit a furlong out and had reduced the gap in the final 150 yards. Folsom Blues (6/4f) kept coming, but ran out of road and was a length and a quarter in arrears at the winning post. O'Brien said: "Very happy. "The last day, they went too fast. They got ganged up and they went too hard. "Wayne gave him a good ride. He let him bowl along and he won nicely. "He's not slow - even a mile could be far enough for him. "He could be a horse for the Futurity." O'Brien's Aix La Chapelle was demoted from third to fourth after causing interference to Nail House who was promoted to third. Paddy Power gave Florida Bay a first show of 40/1 for the 2,000 Guineas. O'Brien and Ryan Moore also landed the Group 3 Saudi Cup Silver Flash Stakes with 1/6 favourite Alpha.
