Florida Pearl Novice Chase preview View from connections ahead of Sunday's Dobbins Outdoor Catering Florida Pearl Novice Chase at Punchestown. Trainer Pat Fahy highlighted Morning Assembly's bravery as being a key weapon when his nice prospect steps up in class for the Dobbins Outdoor Catering Florida Pearl Novice Chase at Punchestown on Sunday. The six-year-old goes into Grade Two company after getting off the mark over the bigger obstacles at the first attempt in a two-and-a-half-mile beginners chase on this course last month. "You need to be brave to be a chaser and he's definitely that," said County Carlow-based Fahy. "He's a good jumper, he's clever. There's no point standing off all the time, you need to be able to get in tight and fiddle one or two and he did that last time. "He's still very much a novice. He's only had seven runs in his life and he's not a horse we've taken here, there and everywhere for schooling races. "Before his last run it was only the second time he'd been on grass and he'd only schooled once. "We're keeping our feet on the ground, that's how I like it." Si C'Etait Vrai, trained by Dessie Hughes, and Henry de Bromhead's Clonbanan Lad were second and third respectively behind Morning Assembly last time and take him on again. The former is owned by Gigginstown House Stud, who are also represented by Don Cossack. Gordon Elliott's charge made a pleasing start to his fencing career when bolting up by 20 lengths at Galway three weeks ago. Elliott said: "Don Cossack came out of his first run very well. We would like to see a bit of rain coming for him. We wouldn't like it drying out too much, but he is in good order."
