Flyer Fine After Leopardstown Defeat

Moscow Flyer was given a clean bill of health after his third defeat on the bounce Leopardstown at Tuesday.

Jessica Harrington´s two-mile champion was sent off the 8-11 favourite for the Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase but he failed to show much sparkle and he finished fourth of five, beaten four and three-quarter lengths by Hi Cloy.

'He´s in grand order and has come out of the race fine,' Mrs Harrington said.

'The vet has scoped him and that was clear. He has also eaten up and we can´t seem to find anything wrong.

'I´ve got no idea where he´ll go next and I don´t know if he´ll run again before the Festival. I will just have to see how he is.'

Moscow Flyer has been eased out to 7-1 by totesport to retain his crown in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March.
