Flynn delighted with Storm effort Pat Flynn was delighted with Bahrain Storm's run in his defence of the Guinness Galway Hurdle on Thursday. The seven-year-old finished second behind the impressive winner Overturn, but arguably put up a career-best performance. Racing off a mark a stone higher than that off which he was successful 12 months ago, he went down by just five and a half lengths. "We were very proud of him and he did his best yesterday as he came up against a well-handicapped Grade One horse," said Flynn. "He is fantastic this morning, but I don't really know where we will go yet. "We haven't discussed it and we will have a little wait."
