Fog due to clear at Gowran It's Goffs Thyestes afternoon at Gowran and the going is still described as soft, heavy in places. It's currently foggy ahead of the County Kilkenny venue's big day but that is due to lift mid-morning. A seven race card is set to begin at 12.45. Meanwhile the ground at Down Royal (next Tuesday) is yielding to soft, soft in places. It's expected to be mainly dry today and tomorrow with rain Saturday into Sunday morning (up to 10mm approx). The ground at Limerick (next Thursday) is soft. At Greenmount Park they will be racing on the inside track and using island hurdles. It's anticipated to be mainly dry for the coming days with heavy rain forecast for next week.
