Fringe heads entries for Aintree Fox Hunter On The Fringe is the headline act among 39 entries for the Crabbie's Fox Hunters' Chase at Aintree on April 7. Winner of the amateur riders' Grand National last season, Enda Bolger's ace lifted Cheltenham's Foxhunter Chase for the second year running. Marito, who ran On The Fringe to a neck last week, has been put in by Couny Down trainer Colin McBartney. Rose Laxton's Current Event and the Paul Nicholls-trained Pacha Du Polder, fourth and fifth that day, when the latter was ridden by Victoria Pendleton, also have entries. Salsify, winner of the Foxhunter Chase at Cheltenham in 2012 and 2013, has been re-routed here by his trainer Rodger Sweeney after not being qualified for that race this season. Other eyecatching entries include 2014 winner Warne, the Willie Mullins-trained Marasonnien and Philip Hobbs' Mendip Express.
