Frisco Mounts late comeback Mount Frisco rallied gamely to get back to the front on the run-in and land the concluding handicap chase at Gowran Park this afternoon. John Ryan’s charge made the running in the two-mile-three contest but was joined turning for home and headed after the third last fence. He looked set to be third at best as Slanagaibhgoieir led from Beckett Rock over the penultimate fence. The 8/1 shot answered every question from Daniel King though and swooped to the front again in the closing stages to post a four-and-three-quarter length win over Beckett Rock. Ryan said:- "At long last, as he had a fall at Listowel (September 2024) and had been struggling. “He damaged nerves in his shoulder which was difficult to repair and my daughter Gillian has done a lot of work with him. “We have a good chiropractor Marie Fitzgerald coming in and she is great, and Dan King gave him a brilliant ride today."
