Full check-up for Menorah Menorah is to be a given a thorough check-up after a disappointing run in the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter on Tuesday. Last season's Grade One-winning chaser trailed home 34 lengths third behind Cue Card, a performance that left connections puzzled. "He was very lethargic throughout the race and we've no idea why. We are going to examine him," said trainer Philip Hobbs's wife, Sara. "He was quiet today and he was never going in the race. Richard (Johnson) was never happy with him. "There's something wrong. There's five weeks to the Peterborough Chase, so we've got plenty of time to work out what's wrong with him."
