Future looks bright for Inis Mor after latest Classic effort “All options are open” for Inis Mor following her fine run to claim second in the Irish Oaks, fully justifying the decision of her connections to supplement for the Classic. The David Menuisier-trained filly has now been placed in two Classics, having finished third behind Diamond Necklace in the Prix de Diane at Chantilly. Distance Versatility Opens Group One Options Now proven over a mile and a half after the weekend, Group One races over that distance and 10 furlongs are now in the mix for the Quantum Leap Racing-owned three-year-old. “I was pleased with how she ran and she proved she stayed the trip, especially considering that she was a bit ‘on it’ for the first couple of furlongs,” said Menuisier. “I think it was a good effort. It opens up a lot more options now, we can look at all 10- and 12-furlong races. We’ve only just raced so we don’t need to decide yet, we’ll give it some thought – all options are open. “We know now that wherever we run her she’s going to be a major player, it was a really good run. She travelled really strongly and if the gap had come a bit sooner she may have even finished closer, who knows.”
