Jordan Gainford doubled up on ready-winner Golden Joy in the beginners' chase at Leopardstown.

The 9/2 shot went on after the fourth fence from Aeros Luck and made the best way home while jumping notably well.

He held a nice cushion over Aeros Luck at the last and, when that horse fell, he was able to pass the post with five and a-half lengths in hand of Lisnagar Fortune (11/2).

Gordon Elliott said: “I'd say the good ground suited him. He jumped great and Jordan gave him a great ride. I was delighted with him there.

“He had a good run first time around a track that was very sharp for him.

“We’ll pick and choose where we go with him.”

Gainford landed the preceding race on Birmingham Alabama (14/1) for Eamon Delany.
