GALA TAKE OVER SCOTTISH NATIONAL

Ayr racecourse today announced that Gala Group Ltd is to sponsor the Scottish Grand National on Saturday April 21st.

The company, which has signed a two-year deal, purchased the race`s previous sponsor Ladbroke Casinos on December 21st and this is their first venture into horserace sponsorship.

Prize money for the contest has been boosted by 43 per cent to Stg£100,000.
