Galway Going Report Day two of the Galway Festival gets underway at 5:20pm this evening and following 5mm of rain overnight the going is currently described as Good to Yielding on the National Hunt course and Yielding to Soft on the Flat. There is a further 6-8mm of rain forecast this morning with the weather clearing later to a dry and breezy day. A heavier band of persistent rain is due tomorrow. The Tote Pick 6 wasn't won at Galway yesterday so there is a rollover of €38,160 to today's meeting. The Tote Jackpot and Placepot pools are guaranteed for €50,000 and €30,000 respectively.
