Tom George is looking to possibly give God's Own two more runs before his summer break after he bustled up Un De Sceaux at Cheltenham.

God's Own got to within two lengths of Willie Mullins' exciting novice at the last and was that horse's closest pursuer, six lengths down at the line after a tremendous effort in the Arkle Trophy.

George reports the seven-year-old to have taken the race remarkably well and will look at Aintree, Punchestown and Sandown, but will only run him where the ground is suitable.

"For a moment between the last and the second-last he got himself upsides Un De Sceaux and he ran a great race," said the Slad handler.

"He's come out of it unbelievably well. We weighed him and he's a kilo heavier than he was before he ran, so that's how well he's taken it.

"The three choices are Aintree, Punchestown or the Celebration Chase at Sandown.

"He's very ground dependant and doesn't want it any softer than good to soft. We'll have to wait and see and make our decision.

"He could go for a couple of them as he's taken Cheltenham so well and comes to himself at this time of year.

"There's the two-mile novice or the two-and-a-half at Aintree. He could run in either of those. We'll just keep our options open with him.

"I'd hope to get maybe two runs out of him before he goes out in the field for the summer. He got a proper break in the winter."
