Gino Bella records two in a row at Cork The Pat Foley-trained Gino Bella (10/3) was a comfortable winner of the John O'Flynn Motors 110 Series Final Handicap Hurdle for jockey Alan O'Sullivan. A seven-pound rise from her latest win could not stop the daughter of It's Gino from another victory, as she travelled sweetly throughout and, when it looked like the Andrew McNamara-trained Metamorpheus was starting to dwindle into her advantage, she stuck on again to record victory by one and three-quarter lengths. Speaking after the race, trainer Pat Foley said: "She had been consistent in the 0-100 grade although it took her a while to win one. While you would think you're well-handicapped, then you bump into one like Timurshah who wins four-in-a-row, so there always seemed to be one better. "At least today she had a nicer weight. Alan almost has a 'free' 5lb claim and she jumped, travelled and did everything right. "She is well-bred so getting black type into her would be ideal. She isn't a winter mare, so I'm not sure if the Byrnes will come back with her next season.
