Godolphin buy Van Der Decken Van Der Decken will run in Godolphin's colours next time out, which is likely to be the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. A hugely impressive winner of a Curragh maiden on his racecourse debut for Paddy Twomey, he will stay with his original trainer, who also owned him, for his next assignment. The Dutch Art colt already holds entries in the Phoenix Stakes and National Stakes at the Curragh in August and September respectively. Godolphin's chief executive and racing manager John Ferguson said: "He is an athletic colt, who has been well educated, and he is just the type to add depth to our juvenile line-up at the Royal meeting and beyond."
