Goffs Announces National Hunt Breeze Up Sale

Goffs Bloodstock Sales will enter the National Hunt breeze up market with the announcement that the company will stage a National Hunt breeze up sale in January 2007.

Goffs have made significant advances in the national hunt store market in recent years, helped by the outstanding success of June National Hunt Sale graduates Brave Inca, Newmill and Hardy Eustace.

Goffs will compile a quality catalogue of up to 65 horses. The horses will breeze on the new polytrack at the Curragh, and the sale will take place in the Goffs complex in Kill. The sale will be open to three and four year olds at the closing of entry in December 2006.

Commenting on the new sale, Goffs Managing Director Matt Mitchell said 'A Goffs National Hunt Breeze Up makes sense both from a Goffs and a market perspective. The strength of the National Hunt market will ensure that quality horses who breeze well will command premium prices. The consistency of the new polytrack surface will give confidence to both vendors and purchasers'.
