Going change at Goodwood The going for the opening day of Glorious Goodwood has changed to good, good to soft in places in the straight following morning rain. Clerk of the course Seamus Buckley said: "We have had five millimetres of rain this morning up to 10am and the going has changed to Good, with some Good to Soft places in the straight. There will be another update before racing." The going description was previously Good, with a couple of Good to Firm places on the round course. The GoingStick reading at 10am was 7.6. It was 7.9 at 3pm on Monday, 8.0 on Sunday and 8.7 on Saturday.
