Going change in Roscommon

The ground in Roscommon is now Soft following 7mm of rain since 7.30am.

The forecast is for further rain this afternoon and the situation is being monitored.

St Lawrence Gap has halved in price (12/1 to 6/1) for the beginners' chase at 7.40pm. He won his maiden hurdle on soft ground at this track three summers ago.

Meanwhile, the ground at Sligo ahead of racing tomorrow and Thursday is Good to Yielding (on Flat course) and Good, Good to Yielding in places (on National Hunt track) following 25mm of rain since Saturday.

The going in Kilbeggan is Good to Firm, Good in places with an unsettled forecast in advance of Saturday's card.

The ground at Downpatrick is Good, Good to Firm in places. There is an unsettled forecast for the week and the track will monitor the situation with regard to watering before Sunday's fixture.

Tipperary also races on Sunday and the going is Good, Good to Firm in places. Showers are forecast today and tomorrow.
