The ground at the Curragh is Good, Good to Firm in places (in the straight) and Good to Firm (on the round course).

A dry morning is expected with rain forecast throughout the afternoon.

There are a pair of Group 2 contests on the card - the Friarstown Stud Sapphire Stakes at 3.10pm and the Kilboy Estate Stake due off at 3.45pm.

Support has been seen this morning for Charles O'Brien's Face Off in the sprint handicap at 4.20pm.

This four-year-old filly arrives on the back of a victory in Navan last month. She now trades around 11/2 from 9/1.

The ground at Tipperary remains Good (selective watering). Showers are forecast today.

The all-chase card gets under way at 1.40pm.

Meanwhile, the going at Ballinrobe ahead of racing tomorrow and Tuesday is Good on the Flat course and Good, Good to Firm in places on the National Hunt track following 7mm of rain.

The forecast is for approximately 10-20mm of rain today and then a mainly dry day on Monday. The track is monitoring the situation regarding watering of the National Hunt track.
