The going at Kilbeggan meanwhile (their card begins at 4.20) is now yielding, good in places following 3mm of rain overnight.

The weather forecast is for a mixture of sunshine and showers today.

Ahead of Champion's Weekend the Curragh is yielding to soft (Straight) and yielding, good in places (Round). Showers over coming days (7mm expected up to race time).

The stalls will be situated in the centre of the track for the five furlong sprint at the Curragh on Sunday.

The Harvest Festival kicks off on Sunday and at Listowel it's soft, heavy in places (NH) and heavy (Flat). 6mm rain overnight. Forecast remaining unsettled.
