The ground has improved slightly at the Curragh following a dry night and the going is now soft, soft to heavy in places, with the forecast to remain mainly dry.

Admisson is free for the final meeting of the year at headquarters this afternoon once you apply online for a complimentary ticket at www.curragh.ie

Racing will take place on the middle track with the stalls in the centre for all sprints. The first on an eight-race card gets underway at 1pm.

The Flat action continues at Navan tomorrow where the going is currently yielding to soft, and there is a risk of showers during racing.

Looking ahead to the bank holiday weekend, the going at Galway is yielding (National Hunt) and soft for the Flat with approximately 30mm of rain forecast from tomorrow to Friday.

Leopardstown is described as soft to heavy with heavy rain due on Friday, while Wexford is soft. The forecast for the south-east is dry today but unsettled thereafter.
