Ahead of a bumper day of action which sees Tipperary kick off with a National Hunt card starting at 1.00, the going remains the same at 'the junction' following a dry period in the past 24 hours.

It's good to yielding there, but there is the risk of showers today. A 7-race card is headlined by the Grade Three Kevin McManus Bookmaker Grimes Hurdle, race two on the programme.

It's Derby weekend of course at the Curragh, with this evening's card at HQ beginning at 4.15.

Friday's eight races are topped off by the TRM (Fillies) Handicap and the Extra.ie Apprentice Derby. Racing is set to come to a conclusion at 7.45.

Both tracks are described as Good, after 2.5mm of rain overnight and there's been selective watering.

Between tonight and Sunday the expectation is that there could be up to 15mm of rain.

The stalls will be in the centre for all sprints and they're racing on the stand's side track.
