Following a dry day yesterday and 10mm of rain overnight, the ground at Cork, on both the round and straight tracks, remains yielding to soft.

Showers are forecast for today and an eight race card, featuring the Group 3 Give Thanks Stakes, gets under way at 1.35pm.

The ground at Kilbeggan is good to yielding, good in places with further rain forecast for today. The first of eight races at the midlands venue goes to post at 4.45pm.

The Group 1 Phoenix Stakes is the feature race at the Curragh tomorrow and the ground there is good to yielding, following 8mm of rain yesterday.

The forecast is for heavy showers this afternoon.

Ahead of tomorrow's meeting, the going at Downpatrick is now described as yielding, yielding to soft in places following a further 38mm of rain. There is a chance of showers, some heavy, over the weekend.

Monday's racing is a National Hunt card at Ballinrobe where it's now good to yielding, good in places following 12.5mm of rain overnight.

The forecast is for unsettled weather with the possibility of 10-15mm (approx.) of rain prior to racing.
