Going updates The ground at Thurles is good, good to yielding in places following 10mm of rain since Tuesday. It's set to be a cool and generally dry day with the first of seven races on a National Hunt card getting under way at 1.15pm. Leopardstown is good to yielding for Saturday's meeting with a generally dry outlook and cooler temperatures. There is the possibility of light rain on Saturday afternoon. It's definitely going to be testing at Galway over the weekend with the ground now soft, heavy in places on the chase track and soft on the hurdles track. More rain is predicted over the weekend (10-14mm approx.) and the going is described as soft to heavy for Bank Holiday Monday's Flat card at Ballybrit.
