No jump racing in Ireland until Tuesday July 4th and two-day Flat fixtures get under way at both Down Royal and Limerick this evening.

Following a dry day and 1mm of rain overnight, the ground is good at Down Royal where they start at 4.50pm. Showers are forecast throughout the day, heavy at times. and then it's set to be dry overnight with further showers tomorrow.

Following a warm day and 4mm of rain in the last 24 hours, it's yielding to soft at Limerick where the first race is off at 5.08pm.

There's an unsettled forecast with a possibility of up to 5mm of rain before racing before clearer weather sets in this evening.
