With Wexford off, Galway is the only meeting in Ireland on Bank Holiday Monday. Following a dry night, the ground is Heavy for an eight-race Flat card which starts at 12.30pm.

Showers (2-3mm) are forecast in the afternoon.

The weather is showing no signs of relenting and the Curragh will have an update this afternoon regarding tomorrow's rescheduled meeting with the track unraceable at present and further rain predicted prior to racing.

Thurles is Soft (Hurdle) and Yielding to Soft (Chase). The forecast is for high winds and heavy rain midweek with the possibility of 30-40mm (approx) prior to racing on Thursday. The situation is being monitored.

A lot of rain is predicted for Down Royal as well which stages its big two-day fixture on Friday and Saturday.

The ground is Soft and there's the possibility of up to 50mm (approx) of rain prior to racing on Friday according to Met Eireann.
