Going updates Galway hosts a two-day meeting beginning on Monday with the ground being on the soft side, despite a dry period last night. The ground at the Ballybrit course is now soft, yielding in places on the National Hunt coursem and soft on the Flat — which races on Tuesday. The forecast is for a mainly dry spell and breezy, with the possibility of light showers totalling just 1-2mm of rain, up to Tuesday evening.
