Going updates The ground at Punchestown, which hosts two days of racing on Thursday and Friday, is currently soft on the chase course and soft, yielding to soft in places on the hurdle/bumper track. There is a dry forecast today but it is likely to be unsettled thereafter with heavy rain at times. Thursday’s racing line is on inside straight for first circuit with runners finishing on the main straight. Friday’s racing line is on inside track. At Fairyhouse, which races on Saturday, the going is is soft, yielding to soft in places with up to 20mm of rain forecast prior to racing. At Naas, which races on Sunday, the going is soft on the chase course and soft, yielding to soft in places on the hurdle track. Up to 40mm of rain is expected prior to racing.
