There are two meetings in Ireland today, both on the Flat, with Cork commencing at 4.52 and Fairyhouse getting under way at 5.05pm.

Cork is good after 2.5mm of rain overnight. There is a mainly dry forecast with the possibility of a thundery shower during the afternoon bringing 2-4mm (approximately) of rain.

Storm Piece, the sole three-year-old in the filed, heads the market for the Mallow Handicap of €100,000 at 5.25pm after landing a Gowran Park maiden in May.

The Group 3 Darley Munster Oaks (7.44pm) features a clash between Paddy Twomey's Bubble Gum and Dermot Weld's Elizabeth Jane who was fourth in last season's Irish Oaks.

Meanwhile, Fairyhouse is now yielding, yielding to soft in places following 26mm of rain. Light showers this morning with a dry and warm afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach up to 20 degrees.

The 105-rated Bravais heads the weights for the Pat's Carpets Race over seven furlongs at 7.25pm.
