Racing takes place today and tomorrow at both Leopardstown and Limerick and rain is on the way.

The ground at Leopardstown remains Yielding, Yielding to Soft in places. It's due to be mainly dry today with rain developing this evening and up to 16-18mm (approx) set to fall prior to racing tomorrow.

Today is two-year-old day at Leopardstown with all seven races being for juveniles including a pair of Group 3 contests.

In the Eyrefield Stakes at 3.15, the O'Brien family are responsible for seven of the eight runners and only Willie Mullins takes on Aidan, Joseph and Donnacha with his Curragh maiden winner Thread Of Gold

Likewise in the Killavullan Stakes at 4.20, Aidan and Joseph O'Brien are both doubly represented with Jim Bolger's Mumhan completing the five-runner field.

The action gets under way at 2.10.

Limerick hosts competitive jump racing this weekend and the ground is Good to Yielding (Hurdle) and Good, Good to Yielding in places (Chase).

It's due to turn unsettled later this afternoon with up to 12mm (approx) of rain into tomorrow.

The first race is off at 1.45 and the Cailin Alainn Mares Hurdle (2.55) is the best quality contest on the seven-race programme. Paul Nolan holds a strong hand in this with market principals Farfromnowhere and Feet Of A Dancer
