Un Beau Matin starts off over fences at Punchestown tomorrow

Ahead of tomorrow and Thursday's meeting at Punchestown the going is Good to Firm. Light showers are possible today. There is rain forecast for tomorrow morning and through the day approximately 10mm is expected. Further showers for Thursday (3-4mm).

Meanwhile at Cork where they race on Saturday and Sunday it's described as follows - Going: Flat tracks: Good to Yielding. Chase track: Good, Good to Firm in places. Hurdle track: Good to Firm, Good in places.

The Eamonn Delany-trained Accustomed (9/2) was victorious in the QuinnBet Bellewstown Handicap Hurdle. The six-year-old son of Shirocco was given a great ride by jockey Daniel King, who completed a double on the evening, to keep out Burning Ability and score by three-quarters of a length.

Clever Court Springs Bellewstown Shock

The Philip Rothwell-trained Clever Court got it all together to run out a tough winner of the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Hurdle. The 50/1 shot was given a smart, patient ride by jockey Shane O'Callaghan, who allowed his mount time to focus on his hurdles before delivering him with one late run to deny the Thomas Coyle-trained Whiskey Serenade back in second by one and three-quarter lengths.
