Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup favourite First Gold heads a star-studded entry revealed today for the Racing Post Chase at Kempton on February 24th.

Winner of the Pertemps King George VI Chase over course and distance last time, Francois Doumen`s charge has been allotted 12st in the Stg#80,000 contest for which 54 horses have been entered.

First Gold is an intended runner in Saturday`s Aon Chase at Newbury, where he is set to meet another Kempton entry Marlborough (10-10), but both have the option of waiting for this race should the weather intervene.

See More Business is set to carry 11-10, while Florida Pearl and Alexander Banquet, first and second in the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Leopardstown on Sunday for trainer Willie Mullins, are on 11-4 and 10-13 respectively.

Ted Walsh`s trio of stable stars, Rince Ri (10-13), Commanche Court (10-3) and Papillon (9-12) are also part a strong Irish contingent.

The three are also among the entries for the De Vere Gold Cup at Haydock Park the same day.

Rince Ri and Alexander Banquet share top weight of 12st for the Stg#100,000 handicap.

Young Kenny, who won the race in 1999 for trainer Peter Beaumont and was fourth last year, has been allotted 11-1.
