Gosden pair in French Oaks

The John Gosden-trained pair Music Club and Cozy Maria figure among 23 acceptors for the French Oaks (Prix de Diane) at Chantilly on Sunday.

The unbeaten Music Club has already made her mark in France making all the running in the Listed Prix Melisande on her return.

Cozy Maria finished third to Vodafone Oaks fancy Mellow Park in the Lupe Stakes at Goodwood.

Barry Hills is also keeping the race open as an option for his Chester scorer Fragrant View, who was taken out of the Oaks at today`s 48-hour final declaration stage.

But six fillies declared for the Epsom classic have been left in the Diane as a precaution.

They are Godolphin`s Kazzia, Snowfire (John Dunlop), Spinnette (Jeremy Noseda) and the Aidan O`Brien fillies, Starbourne, Maryinsky and Kournakova.

O`Brien has also left in Paquita.

Geoff Wragg`s St Expedit is one of 12 acceptors in the Group Two Grand Prix de Chantilly over a mile and a half.

Inglenook (Dunlop) and Divine Task (Godolphin) both hold entries in the third group event on the same card, the Prix du Chemin de Fer du Nord.
