Gowran and Ballinrobe remain good The ground at Gowran Park ahead of this afternoon's action remains good after selective watering this morning. It is set to be a mild and dry day at the Kilkenny venue where the first race goes to post at 1.00pm. There is also racing at Ballinrobe today and likewise it is good there following watering yesterday. It is set to be mainly dry but 4-5mm of rain is predicted ahead of the jumps card at the venue on Wednesday. Officials are monitoring the situation regarding further watering. Naas also race on Wednesday and it's currently good, good to yielding in places with a dry and warm outlook. The ground at Leopardstown ahead of Thursday's card is good to firm, good in places. They are watering in Dublin with a mainly dry forecast. They are also watering at Cork ahead of Friday's card and it's currently good in Mallow with a dry forecast. The ground at Down Royal, for Friday, is good in the straight track and good, good to yielding in places on the round course. It's more a unsettled forecast in the north with the risk of rain Wednesday and Friday. ·
