Gowran Park gets green light Gowran Park has passed an inspection and racing goes ahead from 3.57pm. Paddy Graffin, IHRB Clerk of the Course said: "I'm pleased to report that following the inspection this morning Gowran Park is fit for racing and the fixture scheduled for this afternoon will go ahead. "There was heavy rain here yesterday throughout the afternoon and into the evening with 11mm of rain up to 7pm, but since 8pm we had just 0.5mm of rain and nothing overnight. "The ground is heavy and due to operational reasons both races on the card to be run over 8 furlongs will now be run over 7 furlongs and 200 yards."
